applied mindfulness

We've all had the feeling of sitting down in front of the computer-- and, half an hour later, wondering why we still haven't done what we sat down to do.  Learning how to focus our attention in an "always on" world is an essential skill and something we'll be focusing on together when we start meeting in August.  In the meantime, for anyone who still thinks that meditation and concentration are just words for cooler-than-coffeehouse hippies, read this article and prepare to get your mind right.

Wouldn't it be a better world if all of the people who told you to pay attention could help you understand HOW?  :)
