I know of three ways to embed music players, so I wrote a huge post about it. Hopefully it'll help someone!
ReplyDeleteAnother music player that I use is an SCM player, it works for my tumblr blog as well as blogger. Its easy to use, and you can choose a different style of player (colors, style, etc.) It's easy to create, you just simply put in the URls of YouTube videos, and then there instructions of where to paste the code they give you in your HTML. In case you don't know what that is, there is a customize option for your blogs that allows you to edit your HTML code. I only briefly saw that option when I was messing with Blogspot. I have had an SCM player on my main tumblr blog for two years and it's simple and easy(: You can make the music player different colors and styles as well. The player isn't large or obnoxious looking so it won't distract from the posts on your blog too. (Also, two years ago I was terrible at using computers, and I still managed to figure it out, so it can't be that hard, right?)
ReplyDeleteMy explanation is not as in depth as Lisa's, but I noticed that that player wasn't mentioned. If you need any further help, feel free to ask! I hope that helps!
Just to see how it works, I tried the SCM player and it's really cool! Good find :)
DeleteAlthough I actually found out that Blogger is really touchy about where you paste the code in the HTML template... if you paste it at the wrong spot it crashes the blog. I added a section to my post about the SCM player to explain. (Not trying to steal your thunder or anything, I just don't think an HTML lesson would work very well in a comment here!)
Don't worry! I'm glad you are willing to do a more in depth explanation, I'm not the best at explaining HTML and I'm glad that you got to actually test it on Blogger(:
DeleteAnd this site has prettier skins for the SCM player (the default ones can be kind of ugly)
